Objective & investment strategy:  The investment objective of the AXA Rosenberg Global Emerging Markets Equity Alpha Fund is to provide long-term capital appreciation with a total return greater than the return of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index on a rolling three-year basis. This Sub-Fund will primarily (meaning not less than 75% of its Net Asset Value) invest in equity securities traded principally on Regulated Markets that the Manager has identified as undervalued and that are issued by companies that have their registered office or carry out a predominant portion of their economic activity (meaning not less than 51%) in the countries that comprise the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. It is intended that this Sub-Fund will be substantially fully invested in equity securities. During any period when this Sub-Fund is registered in Switzerland, it will invest no less than two-thirds of its total assets in such equity securities. The MSCI Emerging Markets Index is a free float-adjusted market capitalization index that is designed to measure equity market performance of emerging markets. As of June 2007 the MSCI Emerging Markets Index consisted of the following 25 emerging market country indices: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey.
